Arrival in Marrakesh

We will meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation where you will meet your guide. In the evening you will have the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming tour and we will answer all your questions.

2

Toudgha valley

After breakfast we cross the High Atlas Mountains over the Tizi N-Tichka Pass (2260m) and drive to Ouarzazate. We will visit the famous Kasbah Ben Haddou. The 11th century Kasbah served as a filming location for famous movies and is a World Heritage Site. From there we head to the Toughda Valley with its steep, red rock walls and the gorges, whose walls are up to 300 m high.

3

Sahara (Merzouga)

Today the journey continues southward towards the Sahara. We pause in the small desert town of Tinjdad, where there is an opportunity to visit a museum. We visit a centuries-old irrigation system called Khattarat, which was once used to water the palm oases and fields. From there we continue to the town of Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. After check-in at the camp, you will have the opportunity to discover the desert. With sand under your feet or, if you feel like it, on a camel. An unforgettable sunset with a view of the seemingly endless desert landscape will put us in the right mood for the evening. In the camp, in the middle of the dunes, we will have dinner accompanied by the sounds of drums. The Milky Way has never been so close.

4

Merzouga - Fes

In the early morning we watch the sunrise, ride the camel back to the hotel and – after a warm shower – drive north, over the High Atlas, to Fes. We spend the night in the old town (medina).

5

Fes

The next day is dedicated to exploring Fes. Accompanied by the guide you will explore the old town. Fes is the third largest city in Morocco and is known for its maze of narrow streets, the souk, leather production and various forms of handicrafts. Also worth a visit: the first university in the world founded by a woman.

6

Chefchaouen

We leave the oldest royal city of Morocco and drive to Chefchaouen, also called "the blue city". The narrow streets, the houses with blue facades are characteristic and make great photo subjects.

7

Rabat - Casablanca

The attractive program continues. Today we drive to Rabat, the capital of the country. Rabat also belongs to the royal cities. It is nestled in an amber landscape and mixes tradition and modernity like no other city in Morocco. After a tour around the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the gardens of Oudaya, we will drive to Casablanca. Casablanca is the economic center of the country.

8

Casablanca - Marrakesh

Today we will visit Hassan II Mosque, the fifth largest mosque in the world. Its minaret is about 200 meters high and even the second highest in the world. After that we will drive to Marrakech.

9

Marrakesh

You will enter the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city of Marrakech. Accompanied by the tour guide - if desired also alone - you visit the most relevant sights (Souk, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Jardin Majorelle), but also a few corners away from the tourist bustle. After a joint dinner it's time to say goodbye. We hope you had an unforgettable time. Maybe you will come again?
